1-2 Test
AGBL in cooperation with BCS provides the 1-2 Test (patented for BCS), single-use test for
MotileSalmonella used by analysts worldwide. It combines proprietary science with practical application, resulting in proven performance and ease of use. Each kit is self-contained and includes all reagents necessary to run the test. Test results are read visually and are easy to interpret without the use of equipment.
Extensive multi-laboratory and field validation studies have shown that the 1-2 Test is highly
accurate and specific. The proprietary 1-2 Testantibody captures a wide range of Salmonella, without reacting with most common cross-reactors. The 1-2 Test is suitable for testing all food products, food ingredients and environmental samples. Each test kit is self-contained and comes with disposable 1-2 Test units, activation reagent and proprietary antibody preparation solution.

AGBL through BCS offers the TRANSIA® PLATES system
TRANSIA Plates are ELISA plates, containing 12 strip wells, each strip contains 8 wells coated with a highly specific antibody for each pathogen. It’s simplicity, specificity and accuracy gives it an edge over any other. The TRANSIA line offers a complete comprehensive line for Pathogen, Allergen and Chemical Residue detection.

Biochemical Identification
AGBL provides a semi - automated system (Micronaut system) for biochemical identification for bacteria and yeast from Merlin Diagnostika (part of Genzyme Virotech).
All identification systems contain the vacuum dried substrates in the microplate and will be rehydrated by the addition of a bacterial suspension. Results are evaluated with software-based expert system.

The Assurance GDS system is truly a master-piece of Molecular and Genetic-Engineering technology. Harnessing the latest technologies of Antibody-coated paramagnetic particles, called Immunomagnetic Separation (IMS), allowing for higher specificity in isolation of target pathogen; and the MGB Eclipse Probe, improving DNA specificity through targeting shorter sequences thus minimizing mismatches. As well as the time-saving centrifugal-motion PCR machine, this allows for faster cycles, by air cooling or heating the samples which are suspended on a rotator disc, and ensures uniform heating and cooling.
