MERLIN Diagnostika GmbH is a manufacturer of in-house developed diagnostic products for automated microbial identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) of clinical relevant bacteria and yeasts. The MICRONAUT products from MERLIN are applied in routine diagnostic laboratories in the field of human and veterinary medicine as well as in public or industrial research facilities.

MERLIN also offers customized AST plates where customers have the choice to compose their own AST panel from more than 130 antibiotic compounds or to select from a variety of standard AST plates (e. g., ESBL test panel, MRSA test panel, anaerobe test panel etc.). MERLIN also offers a breakpoint testing, MIC testing or a combination of both techniques.
